In the first chapter of the 9th Islamiat notes, “Quran Majeed and Hadees Nabvi,” we examine the two primary sources of Islamic doctrine: the Quran and Hadith (traditions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). The holy book of Islam, the Quran Majeed, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over the course of 23 years and is regarded as a divine revelation and the direct word of Allah.
